availability in N.A. or Europe? I'm getting tired or reading about how great this stuff is, I'd like to actually get on some of it...

Anyone know what tires Stevie's running? Almost looks like Telonics... which I find weird since he doesn't have a tire sponsor (at least as per the DeVinci website). I'd be curious to know why he chose those.

Nationality-wise, that's quite a varied podium. Maybe a little dominated by Commonwealth countries but whatever. US Open is attracting a broad spectrum of riders; well done. Nice edit and good riding. Too bad it was dry, I would love to have seen the pros attack those rock gardens when wet. I find that's what really sets them apart from the rest of us!

I have this same question. I had a pair of the older Alberts, and they were really good on anything dry, but the compound was too hard for wet conditions, and on wet rocks and roots they were quite simply horrible. I too ride on lots of wet roots and rocks. I'm curious about their new Trailstar compound and how it compares to Maxxis' 42a compound, Kenda's Stick-e compound, and/or Specialized's 55/65 compound, and even the Conti's Black Chili... Richard or Mike, can you comment?

I don't know what it is about his videos or his editing, but Theo's work is by far the funnest around. He really seems to capture the spirit of the moment. I never get bored watching his vids, over and over and over. Days of Dirt is one of my favs ever. These deliver too. Allout Productions!!!

This is exactly what I've been waiting for to go 1x9 (or 1x10) on my trailbike. I want a chain guide with taco (or skid plate) and current options make the weight savings negligible, and not worth the investment (IMO) - why run a DH guide on a trail bike?. I've been waiting for guide manufacturers to make a lighter version of the DH chain guides with skid plates for trail duties, and this seems to fit the bill. I'll be looking forward to seeing how much they come in at.

Is Cathro really 8'2"?! nice bike checks btw... interesting to see these, I've been hooked since the world champs pit walkabout. would love to get more info on Peaty's tyres.

Very nice. Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for in terms of brakes, cogset, and cranks. And June isn't that far away, so I can wait! But... those double cranks... can you run a bash on them? Given their shape it doesn't look like you can run an after market bash on there... on the triple either. That's kinda crummy in my world...

For some reason the results sheet is showing up for me... I saw Camellini in that podium shot: who's he riding for now?

There won't be any comparisons between bikes tested like the Fluid LT, Ibis Mojo, Transition Covert and Trek Remedy. They may have similarities, but are all very different bikes.

It is up on Vimeo, it is just locked. I will go unlock it right now, I just forgot to. The quality is actually worse though. The best place so far to watch has been Rip.tv Try it out, the music is more on key with the clips their, and the quality is a *little* better. Not much though. Thanks for the comment.
